Description
Radial infill beams are elements placed directly between standard BAUFRAME formwork panels, enabling efficient construction of walls with a rounded shape. They make it possible to form arched and polygonal structures with a radius exceeding 2.5 meters. The availability of three different widths means the formwork can be assembled very precisely, tailoring the layout “to measure” for a specific construction project. The beams are connected with the panels in an alternating pattern using standard centering form ties, which significantly streamlines assembly work on site without the need to invest in dedicated curved formwork.
Application of radial infill beams
Radial infill beams are ideal for erecting non-standard concrete structures using standard systems. For use in:
- forming radial walls and arched structures with a radius above 2.5 m,
- forming polygonal structures from standard BAUFRAME panels,
- precise assembly of formwork to a specific dimension without infill inserts,
