Plywood Recykling Eco

Cost-effective formwork plywood with a recycled core, designed for single-use construction applications.

A budget solution for fast formwork operations, coated with phenolic film to limit moisture absorption.

Recycled Plywood Eco

Description

ECO poplar plywood is a cost-effective formwork solution made from recycled materials, which directly reduces the purchase cost of plywood for a project. The working surfaces of the sheets are coated with black, or optionally brown, phenolic film with a weight of 170 g/m², while the individual layers are bonded with phenolic glue, increasing the bending strength of the panels during concrete works. The edges are protected with acrylic paint, providing a barrier against ambient moisture, although in construction conditions slight edge swelling may occur due to natural water absorption. Thanks to the relatively low weight of a single sheet, 36 kg, the material is easier to handle and speeds up formwork assembly. Due to the core characteristics and reduced durability, these panels are classified as a single-use material.

Application of Recycling ECO plywood

Recycled poplar plywood proves ideal as a cost-effective formwork sheathing solution. Suitable for use in:

  • in single-use concrete formwork
  • in construction projects requiring strict material cost optimisation
  • in fast formwork operations not subjected to intensive or repeated use
  • in short-term concrete structures, both permanent and temporary
