Standard Plywood Form

Description

Standard Form plywood is a multi-layer panel made of 13 cross-laminated acacia veneers, bonded with waterproof melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) glue with BR (Boil Resistant) resistance for 6 hours in accordance with EN 314. The outer surfaces are coated with dark brown PSF phenolic film with a weight of 160 g/m², and the edges are protected with waterproof black paint. Compared to traditional poplar plywood, it offers increased and uniform bending stiffness, reducing unwanted deflection in slab formwork. Consistent production quality results in fewer defects and better film adhesion. The panel weighs 41.5 kg and withstands up to 8 reuse cycles. Before each use, the panel should be coated with a release agent, and edges after cutting should be immediately protected with varnish or waterproof paint.

Application of Standard Form plywood

Standard Form plywood proves ideal as formwork sheathing in simple formwork structures. Suitable for use in:

  • in external wall and slab formwork sheathing
  • in formwork for foundations, ring beams, beams and columns
  • in residential construction
  • in projects with short execution cycles
  • in structures requiring an aesthetic concrete finish
