Description
Plastic Line Spacer ZZ is a linear plastic spacer designed for positioning horizontal reinforcement in slabs, strip footings and foundation slabs under medium and heavy loads. Alternating support legs ensure stable bearing of reinforcement bars and uniform load transfer to the substrate, while multiple openings in the body of the spacer allow concrete mix to flow freely underneath the reinforcement, resulting in uniform, durable concrete cover. The spacer can be quickly cut to the required length directly on site, making it easy to adapt it to any reinforcement layout. With a cover range from 15 to 50 mm, Plastic Line Spacer ZZ is a functional alternative to traditional flat spacers and bottom reinforcement chairs, often referred to as horizontal pads, cover blocks, bases or spacers for reinforcement.
Application
Plastic Line Spacer ZZ is used wherever fast, repetitive and precise positioning of reinforcement is required:
- supporting bottom reinforcement in cast-in-place concrete slabs,
- positioning bottom reinforcement in strip footings,
- supporting reinforcement in foundation slabs under medium and heavy loads,
- forming continuous concrete cover for reinforcement meshes and bars,
- used as a horizontal spacer / bottom reinforcement cover instead of individual point spacers,
- supporting vertical reinforcement after pre-fixing the spacer to the bars.
