BAUFRAME-ALU is an aluminium wall formwork designed for casting reinforced concrete walls up to 6 metres high in residential and industrial construction. The lightweight structure made of hardened 6261 aluminium alloy allows the formwork to be assembled without the use of a crane. Two people are enough to carry a single panel. It can be combined with Rasto-type formwork panels and universal Baukrane accessories.

How does
BAUFRAME ALU stands out from other formworks?

Load capacity 60 kN/m²

The frame of each panel is made of hardened 6261 aluminium alloy, with an external profile 121 mm high and 20 mm wide, and an internal profile 105 mm high and 20 mm wide. The structure designed in this way withstands the pressure of fresh concrete mix at the level of 60 kN/m² — identical to the steel version of the system, with 30% less weight.

Compatible with Rasto

It can be combined with the steel BAUFRAME version, the heavy-duty BAUSCHAL system, as well as other Rasto-type panels. Reduce formwork costs by combining BAUFRAME ALU with other formwork systems on site. The panels can be connected using Baukrane universal formwork accessories. Multi-hole panels are also available in the ALU variant.

Manual assembly without a crane

The most popular 90×300 panel weighs only 63 kg, and the system’s surface weight is 23.45 kg/m². Thanks to this, the panels can be carried and set up manually, without involving lifting equipment. On construction sites where a crane is not available or its use is difficult, BAUFRAME ALU makes it possible to maintain continuity of formwork operations.

Durable birch plywood

The panel sheathing is made of 15 mm birch plywood covered with a phenolic film with a weight of 220 g/cm². Thanks to this, the formwork will work for a long time without the need to replace the plywood.

Steel support plate protect the plywood

Through holes for tie rods are protected with aluminium rings set directly into the plywood. They protect the plywood from damage by the tie rods, which extends the time between sheath replacements and reduces the operating costs of the formwork. M Board plastic plywood is available on special order.
