Description

The DW15 SW 30/50 hexagon nut is a fastening component designed to work with standard DW15 form ties. Made from weldable automatic steel and supplied in a black (uncoated) version, it can be welded directly to plates, brackets or steel members to create permanent anchorage or fixing points. The admissible load of 90 kN, matching the tie capacity, makes the nut suitable for typical reinforced concrete formwork systems as well as single‑sided anchoring solutions. The hexagon shape allows easy operation with ratchet or socket wrenches, while the 50 mm height provides a good grip and quick tightening, even in confined spaces. When used together with a bearing plate, the nut forms a stable, repeatable clamping point for formwork panels.

Application

The DW15 hexagon nut is used in a wide range of formwork and anchoring applications:

  • connecting and tightening formwork panels with DW15 form ties,
  • working in anchoring and formwork systems for reinforced concrete in accordance with DIN 18216,
  • use in single‑sided anchoring systems as a tightening or weldable anchor point,
  • welding the nut to steel parts to create DW15 threaded fixing points,
  • applications in tight areas where precise tightening of the tie is required.
