Project description:

Together with our long-standing partner GRANIT, we are carrying out a residential development for ROBYG in Nowy Port, on Letnicka Street in Gdańsk. The project involves the construction of six residential buildings, each with five storeys. For the general contractor, one of the key priorities is maintaining the pace of work, which is why it was so important to secure a reliable partner and properly selected equipment.

Products delivered to the construction site:

For this project, we supplied:
7,000 props,
1,500 m² of the BAUDECK slab formwork system,
2,500 m² of traditional girder-based formwork,
300 m² of the BAUFRAME system,
and temporary stair towers.

A custom solution for a challenging structure:

Specifically for this project, our technical department prepared a design that solved the challenge of constructing a slab at a height of five metres. The reliable Bauprop 20 props played a key role here, enabling the slab to be safely constructed at the required height. In addition, in line with the general contractor’s ongoing needs, we also equipped the construction site with the necessary supplementary accessories.

The versatility of formwork systems:

Our BAUFRAME formwork system, with a load-bearing capacity of 60 kN, facilitated the efficient execution of wall construction work and provided a robust, versatile solution tailored to residential construction. Meanwhile, 2,500 m² of classic formwork on girders allowed for better adaptation of the formwork layout to the structural requirements, while also enabling work to proceed on six buildings simultaneously. Baudeck was used for the slabs, enabling quick and efficient slab formwork, which significantly accelerated the pace of construction. The use of this system produces a perfectly smooth concrete surface, reducing the scope of subsequent finishing work. In practice, this combination provided the construction team with greater operational flexibility, better utilization of equipment, and more efficient organization of the entire project.
