Point concrete spacer made of C30/37 concrete with a profiled saddle for supporting medium and heavy horizontal reinforcement. It ensures the required concrete cover and keeps bars in a stable position without slipping during concreting.
Description
The concrete washer “block” is a point spacer designed to support horizontal reinforcement in reinforced concrete elements, particularly medium and heavy reinforcement. Made of C30/37 concrete, it safely transfers loads from bars and fresh concrete while maintaining its shape and height throughout the concreting process. The profiled saddle securely holds the bar in place, preventing it from sliding or rotating, which ensures accurate design cover and an even distribution of loads onto the substrate. The wide base of the washer stabilises the reinforcement on the blinding layer or concrete sub-base, reducing local pressure points. The available height range enables concrete cover from 20 to 70 mm in 5 mm increments within the system, while the most common sizes of 25, 30, 40 and 50 mm cover standard solutions in residential and industrial construction.
Application
The concrete washer “block” is used as a point spacer under horizontal reinforcement wherever stable support and cover control are required.
