A 220 cm high mesh edge protection system, compliant with PN-EN 13374. The steel frame made of Ø6 mm wire and the reinforced lower section made of Ø4 mm wire protect workers and tools from falling from heights, without the need to install guardrail or curb boards.
Description
Safety Net 220 is a modular barrier for securing the edges of work platforms, ceilings, and openings during reinforced concrete and formwork operations. The structure is based on cross-linked Ø6 mm steel wires, forming a rigid panel 220 cm high, with a lower reinforcement zone made of Ø4 mm wire at a height of 150 mm. This configuration effectively prevents both people and small tools or materials from falling over the edge. The mesh meets the requirements of the PN-EN 13374 standard for temporary edge protection systems, allowing it to be used in both standard and more demanding work-at-height zones. Corrosion protection in the form of hot-dip galvanizing and orange powder coating enhances weather resistance and improves the barrier’s visibility on the construction site. Panels can be custom-made in other colors and with the investor’s or contractor’s logo upon request.
Application
The BHP 220 safety netting is designed for the quick installation of temporary edge protection inside and outside buildings:
- securing the edges of slabs and work platforms in formwork systems,
- protecting edges around service openings and stairwells,
- securing the perimeter of foundation and floor slabs during reinforcement and concrete pouring,
- replacing traditional balustrade and curb boards with a single mesh element,
- compatibility with standard clamps: screw-in, side, universal, counterweight, drive-in, and disposable.
