Description
The Gasket for activering maxi tubes, made of swelling TPE material, is designed to seal concrete distance tubes used in reinforced concrete walls. When in contact with water or moisture, the material increases its volume, filling micro-gaps around the tube and forming a continuous watertight barrier across the section of the element. This significantly reduces the risk of leakage at tie-through locations, which is crucial in areas exposed to groundwater, rainwater or process water. The gasket is resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, salts and many organic substances, allowing its use in demanding service conditions. Its simple design and flexible material enable quick installation without specialised tools, speeding up preparation of the formwork for concreting.
Application
