Linear Safety Cover – continuous protection for protruding rebars.

The Linear Safety Cover creates a protective barrier along the full length of exposed reinforcement or formwork ties, helping to prevent injuries caused by sharp steel ends on the jobsite.

Description

The Linear Safety Cover is a rigid PVC safety profile designed to protect sections of exposed steel bars and formwork ties with diameters from 8 to 40 mm. The hard, impact‑resistant plastic shields bar ends from direct contact, significantly reducing the risk of cuts, punctures and other injuries when moving around the site. The profile is resistant to punctures, impacts and adverse weather conditions, and can be reused multiple times without losing its protective performance. It is supplied as standard in high‑visibility orange, with the option of side printing (e.g. company logo) and production in other warning colours. Thanks to its linear design, a single cover can protect several bars at once, speeding up the securing of working areas and access routes.

Application

The Linear Safety Cover is used wherever longer stretches of exposed bars or ties need to be secured:

  • protection of protruding reinforcement bars along slab edges, balconies and ring beams,
  • safeguarding formwork ties and rods in wall and foundation formwork systems,
  • securing hazardous zones along walkways, platforms and access routes on site,
  • use in horizontal position (edges, beams) and vertical position (columns, upright bars),
  • compatible protection for rebars with diameters from 8 to 40 mm, complementing point safety caps and rebar covers.
