The triangular plastic strip is used to form and protect concrete edges, improving both durability and visual quality of exposed corners with minimal finishing work.
Description
The triangular plastic strip is a disposable polyethylene chamfer used for shaping and protecting the edges of reinforced concrete elements. Its triangular cross‑section creates a uniform chamfer on the corners of columns, walls, upstands and foundations, making the edges less prone to chipping and impact damage during service. The robust polyethylene material resists cracking during fixing and remains stable during concreting, while pre‑formed fixing holes allow for fast and repeatable installation on formwork. After stripping the formwork, the strip is removed, leaving clean, straight and visually consistent chamfered corners without the need for additional grinding. Chamfer strips with a tongue profile are also available, providing even better stability within the formwork.
Application
The triangular plastic strip is used wherever durable and neat concrete edge detailing is required:
- construction of columns, walls and parapets – forming chamfered corners with improved resistance to impact and chipping,
- enhancing aesthetics and safety – broken edges reduce the risk of spalling and sharp corners,
- formwork for foundations and plinths – clean finishing of lower concrete edges,
- used as a chamfer strip for columns and exposed reinforced concrete edges,
- applications where chamfering concrete edges simplifies finishing and improves appearance.

- Cross‑section dimensions (triangle legs) and packing:
- 10/10 – 100 m (40 strips x 2.5 m),
- 15/15 – 100 m (40 strips x 2.5 m),
- 20/20 – 100 m (40 strips x 2.5 m),
- 25/25 – 100 m (40 strips x 2.5 m),
- 30/30 – 50 m (20 strips x 2.5 m).
- Also available: chamfer strips with tongue profile for increased stability in the formwork.
