Spring clamp
Spring clamp.
Spring formwork clamp for fast tightening of formwork using 5–10 mm tie rods or wires. It securely locks foundations, columns, lintels and ring beams, handling loads up to 25 kN per clamp.

Description
The spring clamp is a practical connecting device used to tighten formwork with 5–10 mm ties or bars. Its body is made of painted and galvanised steel, providing durability and resistance to moisture and site conditions, while the reinforced rack inside the clamp ensures a firm grip on the wire during tensioning. Each clamp can transfer loads up to 25 kN, allowing safe closure of formwork even under high fresh‑concrete pressure. When used together with a dedicated tension key, work with spring clamps is significantly faster than traditional tying methods or heavier tie systems, reducing assembly time and labour costs. The low weight (approx. 0.46 kg) makes handling and transport easy, and the simple, robust design allows repeated use on subsequent stages of the project.

Application
The spring clamp is suitable for most common formwork operations:
- tightening and closing formwork for strip and pad foundations,
- clamping column and ring beam formwork,
- pressing and aligning boards and panels when concreting lintels,
- connecting mixed formwork systems (boards and panels),
- use with 5–10 mm ties / bars when concreting linear and point elements.
