Wavy anchor

The wavy anchor is a lost steel anchoring element made from weldable B15 rebar formed into a wavy profile, designed for use with single‑sided formwork on walls and foundations and for anchoring working platforms. The wavy shape significantly enlarges the bond surface with concrete, enabling the anchor to transfer higher loads and resist pull‑out, which is essential where fresh concrete exerts substantial pressure on the formwork. Its 55 cm length ensures secure embedment within the section of foundation walls, massive walls and footings without the need for extensions. The B15 bar can be bent and welded as required, allowing the anchor geometry to be adapted to specific site conditions, for example for non‑standard platforms or temporary structures. The anchor works with FCB and FCMB system cones, simplifying installation and stripping – once the concrete has cured, only the cone is removed, while the anchor remains permanently embedded as a lost component.
