Plettac P70 swivel base plate

The Plettac P70 swivel base plate is an adjustable scaffold base component designed to provide stable support on uneven and sloping ground. The pivoting base plate allows its angle to adapt to the slope of the ground, ensuring even contact with the supporting surface in areas where the use of a standard base plate would be difficult. The adjustable spindle also allows precise height adjustment and levelling of the first scaffold level.

The design of the base plate allows loads from the vertical scaffold components to be safely transferred to the ground, while the adjustable angle extends its range of applications to slopes, inclined surfaces, ramps and other areas with varying ground geometry. The swivel base plate is intended for use as a base component in Plettac scaffolding and other structures with compatible parameters. Its adjustability reduces the need to create a separate horizontal support directly beneath each standard base plate.

Applications of the Swivel Base Plate

The swivel base plate is suitable wherever scaffolding needs to be securely supported on uneven or sloping ground.

  • supporting scaffolding on sloping and uneven ground,
  • adjusting the angle of the base plate to the slope of the ground,
  • height adjustment and levelling of the first scaffold level,
  • use on slopes, ramps and other surfaces with varying inclines,
  • transferring loads from the scaffold structure to a properly prepared supporting surface.
