The BAUKRANE retaining A-frame is a steel one-sided formwork system intended for concreting retaining walls, tunnels, and footing foundations in the immediate vicinity of an excavation. Load-bearing frames made of closed steel profiles take over the concrete pressure and transfer it through concreted anchoring loops directly to the subgrade, ensuring stable formwork geometry during concreting. The modular design and compatibility with BAUFRAME and BAUSCHAL systems allow costs to be reduced and concreting cycles shortened without investing in additional formwork panels.

The A-frame structure made of closed steel profiles withstands the pressure of fresh concrete mix with pressure up to 70 kN/m². The formwork maintains stable geometry under full load, which enables dynamic and continuous concreting.

The basic A-frame with a height of 290 cm allows concreting walls up to 3 meters. Adding an additional extension increases the height to 4.5 meters. The same retaining A-frame base makes it possible to build walls in various engineering projects, limiting logistics and the transport costs of non-standard elements to the construction site.

The threaded tilting base allows the inclination of the retaining A-frame structure to be quickly adjusted to uneven ground. This eliminates labor-intensive preparatory work and foundation corrections, saving time in preparing wall formwork.

Perforated plates welded into the structure constitute ready attachment points for the transport hook of the tower crane. Assembled formwork segments can be lifted and moved without dismantling the entire set, which significantly speeds up formwork work.

The Baukrane retaining A-frame can be used with BAUFRAME, BAUSCHAL wall formwork, and other panels with a Rasto profile. Thanks to this, you work with a popular type of formwork that is easy to supplement in the event of shortages or the need to complement formwork in specific sizes.

The hot-dip galvanized coating protects the steel frame against corrosion in difficult weather conditions and those prevailing on the construction site.
