Concrete washer “barrel”

The “Barrel” Reinforcement Spacer is a universal point spacer made of coloured polystyrene, designed mainly for supporting horizontal reinforcement in formwork. Its characteristic barrel-shaped profile with moulded grooves allows several different concrete cover thicknesses to be achieved with a single element, depending on how the reinforcing bar is positioned. The spacer provides stable support and helps prevent reinforcement movement during concreting, while its open structure allows the concrete mix to flow freely and fully surround the reinforcing bars. Its lightweight and simple design make it quick to distribute over large areas. Approximate consumption is around 6–8 pieces per m² of formwork area.

• reinforced concrete structures requiring stable positioning of bottom reinforcement.
