Gasket for activering maxi tubes

The Activering Maxi Swelling Seal is made of water-expanding thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and is designed for sealing concrete spacer tubes with an external diameter of 38–42 mm. When exposed to water or moisture, the material increases in volume, filling micro-gaps around the tube and creating a continuous waterproof barrier through the wall section. This solution reduces the risk of leakage at tie-rod penetrations, which is particularly important in structures exposed to groundwater, rainwater or process water. The material is resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, salts and selected organic substances, making it suitable for demanding operating conditions. Its flexible design allows quick installation without specialist tools.
