Plastic line spacer DL

The DL Slab Spacer Bar is a plastic linear spacer designed to support horizontal and bottom reinforcement in slabs, foundation slabs and strip foundations. Its specially shaped profile with side openings provides stable support for reinforcing bars while allowing the concrete mix to flow freely beneath the reinforcement. This helps maintain continuous and consistent concrete cover along the entire length of the spacer. Made of coloured polystyrene, the bar can be easily cut to the required length directly on site. With a standard length of 2 m and a concrete cover range of 15–50 mm, it provides a practical alternative to individual horizontal and point spacers, especially when reinforcing large areas.

Applications of the DL Slab Spacer Bar

The DL Slab Spacer Bar is particularly suitable for horizontal reinforcement over large areas in residential and industrial construction. Suitable for:

• supporting bottom reinforcement in cast-in-place slabs,
• positioning reinforcement meshes and bars in foundation slabs,
• supporting reinforcement in strip foundations,
• creating continuous concrete cover beneath bottom reinforcement,
• replacing traditional horizontal and point spacers,
• use as a spacer beneath bottom reinforcement over large concreting areas.
