The PVC Spacer Tube 22 is a polyvinyl chloride sleeve tube with an internal diameter of 22 mm and a length of 200 cm, designed for use in reinforced concrete wall and column formwork. It maintains a constant distance between formwork panels, helping preserve the designed thickness of the concrete element, while protecting tie rods from contact with fresh concrete. During concreting, the tube remains embedded in the structure as a sacrificial element. When used together with PVC stop cones, it creates a consistent spacer system and makes tie-rod removal easier after concreting. Once the formwork has been stripped, the remaining openings can be sealed with PVC plugs, concrete plugs or other suitable sealing elements.

Applications of the PVC Spacer Tube 22

The PVC Spacer Tube 22 is used in wall and column formwork as a tie-rod sleeve and as a spacer maintaining the required distance between formwork panels. Suitable for:

• maintaining the designed thickness of reinforced concrete walls and columns,
• protecting tie rods from contamination and bonding with concrete,
• foundation, basement and above-ground wall formwork,
• use with PVC stop cones at both ends of the tube,
• facilitating later sealing of tie-rod holes.
