The iFLEX 150 WR 3M Construction Joint Cross Seal is made of a polyethylene membrane with a bituminous coating and is designed for areas exposed to groundwater and hydrostatic pressure. The bituminous layer blocks water penetration by creating a continuous sealing line in the planned weakened section. This helps protect both the construction joint and the controlled cracking zone against leakage. The element can be overlapped to create continuous sealing along longer sections of walls, slabs and retaining walls. It is fitted with a protective film that is removed directly before concreting, helping keep the bituminous surface clean. The iFLEX 150 WR 3M can also be used to create controlled cracking zones in walls and foundation slabs, reducing the risk of uncontrolled cracks and leakage.
