White plug Flupp

The Flupp Rubber Plug is a flexible sacrificial element designed for sealing PVC spacer tubes through which formwork tie rods are installed. After stripping the formwork and removing the plastic cones, the plug is bonded inside the spacer tube to protect it against the ingress of water and contaminants. Its shape allows it to work with typical PVC cones and spacer tubes, creating a sealed end ready for installation of a concrete plug. The Flupp plug is suitable for areas exposed to water with low hydrostatic pressure and helps reduce the risk of leakage into the tube. The flexible plug also fills part of the internal space, reducing the amount of adhesive or mortar required when installing the concrete plug.

Applications of the Flupp Rubber Plug

The Flupp Rubber Plug is designed for sealing spacer tubes in formwork systems.

• sealing PVC spacer tubes after removal of formwork tie rods,
• use with PVC cones in monolithic wall and foundation formwork,
• sealing openings in areas exposed to water with low hydrostatic pressure,
• preparing openings for concrete plugs and finishing mortars,
• use as a rubber plug for spacer tubes in standard formwork systems.
