Plus Form formwork plywood description
Plus Form Plywood is a construction plywood made from hardwood (mixed species), coated on both sides with a dark brown-red phenolic film weighing 130 g/m². It provides a smooth concrete finish, high resistance to moisture and concrete alkalinity, and dimensional stability during intensive construction work. Bending strength is 45 N/mm² across and 30 N/mm² along the sheet, with a modulus of elasticity up to 4500 N/mm², and its 21 mm thickness ensures stability even under heavier concrete loads, effectively limiting deflection in slab formwork. The product meets EN 13986 requirements, with a bonding class of 3 (per EN 636:2003) and a formaldehyde emission class of E1 (per EN 717-2:1995).
With proper use – applying release agents, protecting edges after cutting, and storing in a dry, ventilated place – the plywood lasts 15-20 use cycles.
Applications of Plus Form Plywood
- wall formwork,
- slab formwork,
- foundation formwork,
- temporary structures,
- elements requiring a smooth concrete surface finish.
Additional information

Plus Form formwork plywood – questions and answers
-
How many times can Plus Form Plywood be used?
15–20 times (both sides, entire element), provided it is used correctly—using release agents, sealing the edges after cutting, and storing it in a dry, well-ventilated place.
-
What wood is Plus Form Plywood made from?
Made of mixed hardwood—unlike Top Form, Pro Form, and EZ Form, which are made from 100% rubberwood. Plus Form also has a different phenolic film color: dark brown-red instead of black-brown.
-
What is Plus Form Plywood’s formaldehyde emission class?
Bonding class 3 (according to EN 636:2003) and emission class E1 (according to EN 717-2:1995)—the same as the other formwork plywood products in our range.
-
How does Plus Form differ from EZ Form?
Both plywood products have the same phenolic film weight (130 g/m²) and similar bending strength, but they differ in wood species (Plus Form—mixed hardwood; EZ Form—rubberwood), film color, and number of uses (Plus Form: 15–20 times; EZ Form: up to 25 times). Plus Form is available only in a thickness of 21 mm, while EZ Form is available in 18 or 21 mm.
