Top Form Plywood is a specialized premium-grade formwork plywood. A direct replacement for birch plywood. Designed as external sheathing for wall and slab formwork. A double-sided, black-brown phenolic film (PSF) weighing 400 g/m² ensures a perfectly smooth, aesthetic concrete finish, and the waterproof bonding with a special base layer allows the sheet to be used up to 60 times.

Top Form Plywood is intended for broad use as external sheathing for wall and slab formwork. Both sides of the sheet are covered with a black-brown phenolic film (PSF) weighing 400 g/m², ensuring perfectly smooth surface and a high-quality aesthetic concrete finish. Compared to alternative formwork plywoods, Top Form shows increased and more even bending stiffness, reducing unwanted deflection.
The sheet is made from cross-bonded veneers of rubberwood, joined with waterproof bonding using a special base layer, and meets the requirements of EN 13986 for wood-based panels used in construction.
Top Form sheet edges are factory-painted black or grey. Panels are packed in crates with metal/plastic strapping, suitable for loading and unloading with forklifts.
Top Form Plywood is manufactured under certified ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management systems.

Top Form is our highest, premium line of formwork plywood. It’s distinguished by a double-sided 400 g/m² phenolic film, a density of 630 kg/m³, and up to 40 uses – all parameters confirmed by the product’s technical datasheet. If you’d like to compare Top Form with a specific other product from our range for your project, get in touch – we’ll help you choose the right variant.
Up to 60 times (2 sides, entire panel). The actual number depends on storage conditions, on-site use, and the use of release agents.
18 mm and 21 mm, at sheet dimensions of 1250 × 2500 mm (tolerance per EN 315:2000).
Phenol-formaldehyde (PF) glue withstands 72 hours in a boiling test — an aviation and marine-grade standard. Urea-melamine-formaldehyde (MUF) glue, used in standard plywoods, withstands only 6 hours. In practice, this means Top Form Plywood doesn’t delaminate even with prolonged contact with wet concrete, rain, and frost.
HDO (High Density Overlay) is a coating made of impregnated cellulose fiber, 100% saturated with phenolic resin, pressed under very high pressure. Unlike painted coatings, HDO doesn’t penetrate the wood — it forms a hard, smooth membrane. It eliminates “rippling” (coating waviness after contact with water), which appears in cheaper plywoods and leaves marks on the concrete surface.
Yes — the HDO coating ensures a smooth, uniform concrete surface without punch-through or wood-grain lines. However, we recommend making a test panel using the release oil planned by the architectural concrete designer, since the choice of release agent affects the final result.
