Guardrail posts

The P70 guardrail post with protection is a special component installed on the top level of frame scaffolding, where it replaces a standard P70 steel frame in intermediate bays. Pins with rotating latches are positioned along the Ø48.3 mm tube, allowing quick installation of longitudinal guardrails and the creation of complete edge protection at the working level. In the lower section of the post, a Ø33.7 mm cross tube presses down and secures the platforms against accidental lifting caused by wind or impact. The integrated Ø16 pin also allows a toe board to be installed, so one component can be used to provide both guardrail protection and toe board protection at the top scaffold level. The hot-dip galvanized steel construction provides resistance to mechanical damage and typical construction site conditions, while the low weight makes transport and installation easier.

Applications of the Guardrail Post

The P70 guardrail post with protection is used to provide safe edge protection at the top working level of frame scaffolding.

• providing edge protection at the top level of P70 frame scaffolding,
• installation of longitudinal guardrails in intermediate bays at the top level,
• securing working platforms against accidental lifting,
• installation of toe boards at the top scaffold level,
• use in frame scaffolding systems comparable with the Plettac system.
