Steel frame
The hot-dip galvanized Plettac P70 steel frame forms the backbone of facade scaffolding – connecting levels, bracing the structure, and providing solid support for platforms, toe boards, and braces. Multiple frame heights make it easy to adapt the scaffolding layout to the building geometry and site conditions.

The Plettac P70 steel frame
The Plettac P70 steel frame is a key structural component of facade scaffolding systems, responsible for rigidity and transferring loads from platforms, materials, and worker traffic. Made from hot-dip galvanized steel tubes, it withstands intensive use, contact with mortar, and variable weather conditions – maintaining performance across many assembly cycles. Latches in the lower section of the frame allow quick attachment of platforms, toe boards, and braces without additional tools, while four spigots provide stable support for working platforms. The upper end of the frame, fitted with tube-and-spigot connections, allows safe stacking of additional levels and fast erection of multi-level working structures. Available in assembly heights of 0.50 m, 1.00 m, 1.50 m, and 2.00 m, the frames allow flexible adjustment of individual level heights to match building storeys, window openings, or facade details – resulting in more comfortable and efficient work for the crew.
Applications of the steel frame
The Plettac P70 steel frame is used wherever fast erection of stable facade scaffolding is required.
- erection of facade scaffolding for cladding, plastering, insulation, and painting works,
- construction of multi-level working structures along external walls,
- creation of working bays with platforms, toe boards, and guardrails supported on frame spigots,
- use as the base component of the Plettac P70 system in combination with platforms, braces, toe boards, and accessories,
- configurations with varied working level heights using four available frame height variants.
