Steel platforms

The welded galvanized steel platform for Plettac-type scaffolding serves as a stable working and access platform on every level of façade scaffolding. Made entirely of galvanized steel, with reinforced edges on both sides, it withstands intensive use and contact with water, mortar and other typical construction site conditions. The perforated anti-slip surface increases bending stiffness and improves footwear grip, reducing the risk of slipping even when the platform is wet or dirty. At both ends, the platform is fitted with end fittings with holes that are placed onto the star-shaped pins of the scaffold frames. This solution stabilizes the platform within the bay and speeds up installation without the need for additional couplers. The 320 mm width is designed for Plettac systems and systems with similar geometry, while the available lengths of 2.5 m and 3.0 m make it possible to adapt the platform configuration to the scaffold bay spacing and the loads specified in the design.

Applications of the Steel Platform

The Plettac steel platform is used as a basic working and access platform in façade scaffold bays.

• creating access routes on the levels of Plettac-type façade scaffolding,
• providing a working surface for façade, masonry, plastering and installation work,
• creating complete platforms in 2.5 m and 3.0 m bays,
• use in façade scaffolding systems with geometry compatible with Plettac,
• supplementing the system with anti-slip platforms in areas with an increased risk of moisture.
