Wooden rode board

The Plettac-type wooden toe board, also referred to as a scaffold toe board, forms an effective barrier along the edge of the working platform in Plettac P70 façade scaffolding. Made of softwood protected with impregnating paint, it withstands rain, sunlight and typical construction site conditions well, reducing the risk of warping or cracking. Its 15 cm height helps prevent a worker’s foot, tools and small materials from slipping or falling off the platform, reducing the risk of accidents and objects falling to lower levels. Metal brackets on both ends allow the toe board to be quickly mounted on the scaffold frame pins without additional accessories, speeding up the assembly and dismantling of the entire bay. Availability in several lengths makes it easy to adapt the toe boards to different scaffold bay widths and configurations.

Applications of the Wooden Toe Board

The Plettac-type wooden toe board is suitable wherever protection of the working platform edge is required.

• protecting the edges of working platforms in Plettac P70 façade scaffolding,
• preventing a worker’s foot from slipping beyond the edge of the platform,
• reducing the risk of tools and small materials falling from the scaffold,
• enclosing scaffold bays in pedestrian traffic areas or above entrances,
• complementing guardrails as part of a complete scaffold edge protection system.
