Project Description:

In Siemiatycze, in a unique location on the waterfront of the reservoir, a complex of five residential buildings is being constructed, comprising a total of 244 units. Each building has five stories and an underground garage built entirely of reinforced concrete, which requires a significant amount of equipment for pouring the slabs.

Despite the challenging conditions, work is proceeding at a very rapid pace. The start of construction was delayed by winter conditions and, subsequently, by high water levels in the excavation resulting from the project’s location directly on the reservoir. Despite these challenges, four months after work began, the contractor has already completed the concrete pour for the third floor slab.
 
Comprehensive construction equipment:

We began our collaboration with the delivery of 13,000 running meters of girders and 3,000 m² of three-layer slabs. Just two weeks later, after analyzing the project’s further needs, the contractor decided to expand its own inventory with 3,000 props, 1,500 crowns, and 400 tripods.

Such a large quantity of equipment ensures the crew has constant access to machinery and allows them to move efficiently between successive stages of the work. With five buildings under construction simultaneously, having their own inventory also reduces dependence on the availability of external equipment and facilitates planning for subsequent phases of the project.
 

Large-scale logistics:

The scale of the order required careful planning of the entire logistics process. The equipment was delivered to the construction site in nine shipments, covering a distance of approximately 500 km from Gdańsk to Siemiatycz. Efficient coordination of deliveries ensured that the contractor had the equipment needed to maintain a fast pace of construction.

Baukrane also supplies the project with disposable components and plywood, allowing the contractor to source key materials and accessories from a single location.

 
Organization and Safety:

The project’s infrastructure is complemented by solutions that support the organization and safety of daily operations. We have delivered 400 safety posts, 70 universal pallets, 40 mesh containers, and 100 work platform posts to the construction site.

Comprehensive construction site equipment—from the floor system, through accessories and materials, to safety solutions—allows the crew to focus on the efficient construction of subsequent floors. Given the scale of the project, which includes five buildings and 244 apartments, properly prepared equipment directly translates into faster progress, smoother operations, and better organization of the work.
